Lincoln home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Lincoln fell by $12,500 while total sales decreased by 5.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 66 homes sold, with a median sale price of $68,500 - a 15.4% decrease over the $81,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Lincoln in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,814, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
