New Berlin home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in New Berlin rose by $70,000 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $167,500 - a 71.8% increase over the $97,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in New Berlin in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in New Berlin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,698, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
