Auburn home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Auburn fell by $29,950 while total sales increased by 27.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,000 - a 24% decrease over the $124,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Auburn in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Auburn for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,705, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
