Lincoln home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Lincoln rose by $5,050 while total sales increased by 10.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 142 homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,950 - a 7.2% increase over the $69,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 129 homes sold in Lincoln in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,814, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
