Divernon home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Divernon fell by $5,480 while total sales decreased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $77,900 - a 6.6% decrease over the $83,380 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Divernon in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Divernon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,800, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
