College Street/ Ash Street home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in College Street/ Ash Street, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $450 while total sales decreased by 4.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 69 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,500 - a 0.5% decrease over the $85,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 72 homes sold in College Street/ Ash Street in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in College Street/ Ash Street for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,064, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
