4th Street/ Cook Street home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in 4th Street/ Cook Street, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 29.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $41,000 - a 4.7% decrease over the $43,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in 4th Street/ Cook Street in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in 4th Street/ Cook Street for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,515, approximately 3.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
