Hartsburg home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Hartsburg fell by $19,200 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $49,300 - a 28% decrease over the $68,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were two homes sold in Hartsburg in 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Hartsburg for 2017 was $1,093. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,074. This marks an increase of 1.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
