Ball-Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
In addition to benefiting their school, GIS students had the opportunity to choose a non-profit organization that would also receive a donation, through the “Step It Up” fall fundraiser. The students chose Children’s Miracle Network as the non-profit recipient. Today they presented a check for $10,000 to CMN!! Great job GIS students, parents, and all who contributed to this worthy cause.
