Canton Union School District 66 Board of Education met Dec. 22.

1. CALL TO ORDER
Board Vice President Jane Lewis called the special meeting to order at 1:00 PM in the Boardroom Administration Building, 20 West Walnut Street Canton, Illinois on Sunday, December 22, 2019, beginning at 1:00 PM.
2. ROLL CALL
Board members present and answering roll call were Leonard Barnard, Ben Bishop, Lori Coleman, Matt Kees, Jane Lewis, Tom Snowman and Mike Krulac.
3. AUDIENCE REQUESTS TO ADDRESS THE BOARD OF EDUCATION
There were no audience requests to address the Board of Education.
4. CLOSED SESSION
A. The appointment, employment, compensation, performance, of a specific employee of the public body. ILCS120/2(c)(1)
Board member Matt Kees moved to enter closed session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, performance, of a specific employee of the public body ILCS120/2(c)(1). Bishop seconded. Voting yes by roll call were Kees, Bishop, Barnard, Coleman, Lewis, Snowman and Krulac. Motion carried.
The board entered into closed session at 1:01 PM. The board returned to open session at 2:12 PM.
5. ACTION FROM CLOSED SESSION
A. NONE
6. ADJOURN
Board member Snowman moved to adjourn the special meeting. Bishop seconded. Voting yes by roll call were Snowman, Bishop, Barnard, Coleman, Kees, Lewis and Krulac. Motion carried.
Board Vice President Lewis declared the special meeting adjourned at 2:13 PM.
