Ball-Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
The Ball-Chatham School District will be holding Kindergarten Pre-registration for the 2020-21 school year on Thursday, February 6th from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at all of its elementary schools.
If you live in the Ball-Chatham School District and have a child (or children) who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2020 please plan to register at your home elementary school. We are requesting that parents/guardians bring the following items:
A certified copy of your child's birth certificate
A signed copy of your lease, mortgage or most recent tax bill
Two other pieces of mail with name and current address listed (such as utility bills, cable bill, etc.).
Any immunization records you may have (due by first day of school in August)
Current physical (due by the first day of school in August)
The registration process will not be complete unless proof of residency is confirmed (either by a copy of a lease, mortgage, or most recent tax bill along with two other pieces of mail with name and current address listed).
In addition, please note that the K-Night informational event for new Kindergarten students and their parents will be held April 30 from 6 - 7 p.m., at each elementary school.
