Ball-Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on April 10.
The purpose of the Ball Chatham Pre-K program is to provide an educational and developmental environment for pre-kindergarten children ages three to five. This program is offered at no charge to students living within district boundaries.
The Ball-Chatham Pre-K program is an at-risk program. A screening process is conducted yearly to determine eligibility for entrance into the program. During
screening, your child will be assessed in the following areas:
Gross & Fine Motor
Cognitive/Readiness
Communication
Receptive & Expressive Language
Phonological/Articulation
Social/Emotional
Independent Functioning/Adaptive
