There were two offenders convicted of financial crimes or fraud released on parole near Illinois zip code 62702 during the first quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Sangamon Sun.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 62702 were men. The younger parolee was a 50-year-old man sentenced in 2018. The other was a 60-year-old man sentenced in 2016.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Danny D. Cleer. He was convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2016 when he was 57 years old. He is now 60.
