Cost of college went up for all students at Lincoln Christian University

Tuition and fees rose 1.4 percent for 2018-19 at Lincoln Christian University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $13,200 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $180 more than the $13,020 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 75 students received grants or scholarships totaling $537,976 and 57 students took out student loans totaling more than $389,955.

Including all undergraduates (714), 387 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.7 million, and 273 students took out $1.8 million in federal student loans.
