Ball-Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
All Ball-Chatham students, Kindergarten through 12th grade, will need to take advantage of the open enrollment period (October 9-18) to choose either a new learning model or stay with their current one. For GHS students, enrollment choices will begin on November 16 and last through the end of the second semester. All other K-8 students' enrollment choices will begin second semester (January 6). Details regarding Pre-Kindergarten will be forthcoming
Look for enrollment information to arrive in your inbox on October 9. You must fill out an enrollment form, transportation preference, and sign a new Acceptable Use Agreement through Skyward for each of your school-age children. Below are instructions to help guide our families through the open enrollment process as well as a helpful link that explains the differences in the hybrid and virtual learning models being offered. The deadline for open enrollment is October 18
