Ball-Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
The Ball Chatham Pre-K program is an at-risk program. A screening process is
conducted yearly to determine eligibility for entrance into the program. During
the screening, your child will be assessed in the following areas:
- Gross & Fine Motor
- Cognitive/Readiness
- Independent Functioning/Adaptive
- Receptive & Expressive Language
- Phonological/Articulation
- Social/Emotional
*Your child must be 3 years old at date of screening. We will hold an additional screening for summer birthdays in August.
