Median home prices in Atlanta rose to $102,000 in the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Atlanta rose by $32,100 while total sales decreased by 26.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $102,000 - a 45.9% increase over the $69,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Atlanta in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,913, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
