The second half of 2020: Home prices in Lincoln increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Lincoln rose by $2,500 while total sales increased by 30.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 149 homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,000 - a 3.1% increase over the $80,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 114 homes sold in Lincoln in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,863, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
