Home prices increased in Atlanta during the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Atlanta rose by $31,050 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $102,500 - a 43.5% increase over the $71,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Atlanta in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,913, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
