City of Lincoln issued the following announcement on Jan. 3
City of Lincoln – Christmas tree collection & Landscape Waste Facility Hours
Beginning Wednesday, January 12, 2022, The Street Department will begin collecting Christmas trees.
Christmas trees should be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 AM that morning. Crews will not return to an area after a pass has been made to pick up trees that were not put out in time.
Christmas trees need to be removed from bags and be free from all decorating materials and stands. Any trees not meeting these requirements will not be picked up.
Landscape Waste Facility -
Citizens may also dispose of their Christmas trees at the Landscape Waste Facility located at 957 Broadwell Dr. The hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays 8am – 3:50pm.
