On Jan. 4, Shirley J Jones purchased a three bedroom, two bathroom home at 128 Post Road, Virden from Johnathan and Lauren A. Williamson for $147,900.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $3,014.58, 2.04% of the sale price of the home.

This home last sold on July 7, 2014 for $111,500.

This property is the only sale in Virden so far in January 2022 as of this publication.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, there were four registered voters residing at 128 Post Road as of Oct. 10, 2020: Chelsea A. Taylor, 33, Joshua Taylor, Kyle Murray McMillin, 36, and David Sipek, 73.
