Report: Georgetown-Ridge Farm School District spent $10,817 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Georgetown-Ridge Farm Community Unit School District 4 was up 13.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Sangamon Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Vermilion County school district spent $9,523 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,817 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,071 to 929 students over the same period.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's spending in 2019-20 was 25.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
