Report: Farmington Central School District spent $10,964 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Farmington Central Community Unit School District 265 was up 22.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Sangamon Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $8,974 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,964 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,432 to 1,318 students over the same period.

Farmington Central's spending in 2019-20 was 24.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
