SIUE baseball has earned the No. 5 seed and will open play in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship Wednesday, May 25 at 9 a.m. ET against No. 8 seed Austin Peay.
With a win over Austin Peay, the Cougars would then square off with No. 4 seed Eastern Illinois at 4 p.m. ET. With two wins Wednesday, SIUE would advance to the four-team, double-elimination portion of the tournament.
SIUE (25-26, 12-12) is making its third appearance in the OVC Tournament and its first appearance since 2015. The Cougars will be seeking their first win in the tournament.
Live audio of each of SIUE's games will be carried on the SIUE Cougar Network. The entire tournament also will be broadcast on ESPN+.
