New Business 

Coroner's Office: 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Part Time Death Investigator II at an hourly salary of $20 effective 1/17/24; the previous employee left the position at an hourly salary of $20 on 10/1/23 and left the payroll system on 10/31/23. 

2. Approval to hire a Death Investigator II (this is a new position) at an annual salary of $45,766 effective 1/19/24. 

3. Pre-Travel Approval for Coroner Jim Allmon to attend the Illinois Coroner & Medical Examiner Association Death Investigator Training Course in Utica, IL from 2/20-2/22/24 at a cost of $410. 

4. Pre-Travel Approval for Death Investigator II Marissa Lesko to attend the Illinois Coroner & Medical Examiner Association Death Investigator Training Course in Utica, IL from 2/20-2/22/24 at a cost of $410. 

5. Pre-Travel Approval for Death Investigator II Sarah Campbell to attend the Illinois Coroner & Medical Examiner Association Death Investigator Training Course in Utica, IL from 2/20-2/22/24 at a cost of $410. 

Tim Eggleston- Sheriff's Office: 

1. Resolution approving an agreement between the Public Safety Training Foundation and Sangamon County for use of the Public Safety Training Foundation Facilities. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $41,573 effective 2/19/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $44,256 on 1/1/24 and will leave the payroll system on 1/19/24. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $41,573 effective 2/5/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $44,256 on 12/23/23 and left the payroll system on 1/5/24. 

4. Approval to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $41,573 effective 2/5/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $44,256 on 12/26/23 and left the payroll system on 1/5/24. 

5. Approval to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $41,573 effective 2/19/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $41,573 on 1/11/24 and will leave the payroll system on 1/19/24. 

6. Approval to hire a replacement Control Room Operator at an annual salary of $37,551 effective 3/4/24; the previous employee will leave the position on 1/24/24 at an annual salary of $60,466 and will leave the payroll system on 2/2/24. 

7. Approval to hire a replacement Control Room Operator at an annual salary of $37,551 

effective 2/5/24; the previous employee will leave the position on 12/29/23 at an annual salary of $39,562 and will left the payroll system on 1/5/24. 

8. Purchase Order-Ray O'Herron Co. Inc for FY24 contract extension of uniforms at a cost of $63,870. 

9. Purchase Order-SWATMOD LLC- tires for MRAP at a cost of $9,728. 

10. Purchase Order-Ray O'Herron Co. Inc for TRU Non-Lethal supplies at a cost of $5,792.40.

Procurement/Grant Notifications-(report only)-Emergency Procurement approved by Brian McFadden for The Flock Group for purchase of license plate readers & software at a cost of $262,500.
