Ball-Chatham Community Unified School District 5 Board of Education met Feb. 13.

2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/CALL TO ORDER

3. ROLL CALL

3.1 Roll Call

Roll Call - Board Secretary Rediger called the roll. Bryant, Calderon, Murphy, Phipps, Rediger, and Saunders were present. Superintendent, Dr. Becca Lamon, was also present.

4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

4.1 Approval of Agenda - Board member Steve Bryant moved to approve the agenda for the January 24, 2024, regular meeting. Upon said motion being seconded by Laura Calderon, the Board President called for a vote. All board members voted "yes."

5. NEW BUSINESS

5.1 Action Item 1 from Closed Session- It was the recommendation of the Administration to uphold the expulsion of Student A until the second semester of the 2024-205 school year. Phipps moved to uphold the expulsion as presented. Upon said motion being seconded by Calderon, the Board President called for a vote. All board members voted "yes."

5.2 Action Item 2 from Closed Session - It was the recommendation of the Administration to uphold the expulsion of Student B until the second semester of the 2024-205 school year. Phipps moved to uphold the expulsion as presented. Upon said motion being seconded by Bryant, the Board President called for a vote. All board members voted "yes."

6. ADJOURNMENT

6.1 Adjournment of Special Meeting - With no further business, the Board President called for a motion to adjourn. Bryant moved to adjourn. All board members voted "yes."
