New Business 

County Administration, Brian McFadden 

1. St. John's College of Nursing - Teen Healthcare Exploration (T.H.E.) program at a cost of $4,000. 

2. Approval to Hire a Public Information Technical Support position at an annual salary of up to $61,527 (the midpoint of Grade 10) effective 7/24/24. This is a new position- County Board.

County Administration, Jeff Wilhite 

1. Resolution that a special service area for improved ambulance services for part of Virden FPD lying in Sangamon County be established. 

Auditor, Andy Goleman 

1. Resolution setting forth Budget Policies for the preparation of the FY-2025 Sangamon County Budget 

Public Health. John Ridley 

1. Approval to hire a replacement RN/Case Manager-WIC at an annual salary of $52,425 effective 7/24/24; the previous employee left the position on 5/28/24 at an annual salary of $60,552.03 and left the payroll system on 6/7/24. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement E.I. Service Coordinator at an annual salary of up to $61,527 effective 8/5/24; the previous employee left the position on 6/28/24 at an annual salary of $62,737.63 and left the payroll system on 7/5/24. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement Clerk Typist II-Clinic at an annual salary of $41,095.80 effective 8/5/24; the previous employee left the position on 6/24/24 at an annual salary of $41,095.80 and left the payroll system on 7/5/24.

4. Approval to hire a replacement Veterinary Technician/Assistant at an annual salary of up to $65,531 effective 7/23/24; the previous left the position on 7/3/24 at an annual salary of $56,500 and will leave the payroll system on 7/19/24. Requesting waiver of the 30 day lag due to operational need. 

5. Resolution to approve the application and forward to County Board for acceptance of the Family Case Management Grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services in the amount of $699,600.This is a renewal and no matching funds are required. 

6. Resolution to approve the application and forward to County Board for acceptance of the Start Early Grant from Start Early (a contractor to DHS Healthy Families Illinois Division) in the amount of $623,322. This is a renewal and matching funds are required. 

7. Resolution to approve the application and forward to County Board for acceptance of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness -Sangamon in the amount of $114,032. This is a renewal and matching funds are required. 

8. Resolution to approve the application and forward to County Board for acceptance of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness-Menard in the amount of $35,278. This is a renewal and matching funds are required. 

9. Resolution to approve the application for acceptance of the Oral Health Promotion Grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health in the amount of $18,433. This is a renewal and no matching funds are required.

SMART, Kate Downing 

1. Resolution for SMART to adopt a Sub recipient Procurement policy & policy on cost allowability for charges against federal awards. 

County Board/Sheriff/911, Tim Eggleston 

1. Purchase Order - GovConnection Inc for a 5 year maintenance agreement in the amount of $383,957.54. 

Child Advocacy, Denise Johnson 

1. Purchase Order - Lamar OCI North for a CASA Billboard in the amount of $6,600. 

2. Approval to Hire a replacement Outreach Coordinator at an annual salary of $50,329.50 effective 8/12/24; the previous employee left the position on 6/28/24 at a salary of $49,919.81 and left the payroll system on 7/19/24. 

3. Approval to Hire a replacement Prevention Educator at an annual salary of $22,425 effective 8/12/24. Previous person will stay on to train. Overlap will not exceed four weeks.

Human Resources for LLWA, Charlie Stratton 

1. Correction to Executive Director position at Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance. Position was amended originally on 12/19/23 for the full grade 17 up to $103,333.
