The Illinois College women's tennis team secured its second consecutive victory, defeating Millikin 6-1 on Wednesday at the Bellatti Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Illinois College opened the match by winning the doubles point with victories from Michelle Maag and Lily Ingram at No. 2 and a forfeit win for Madison Eastin and Chloe Plough at No. 3.

In singles play, the Lady Blues claimed five of the six matches. Maag triumphed at No. 2, Sophie Muir at No. 3, and Lily Ingram at No. 4. Both Eastin (No. 5) and Sabrina Ingram (No. 6) won by forfeit.

Looking ahead, the Lady Blues have a busy weekend schedule. They will host Alverno on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a match against Rose-Hulman at 3:00 p.m. On Sunday, Westminster will compete at the Bellatti Tennis Complex at 1:00 p.m.
