Destin Chance named MWC offensive performer of the week

Illinois College's Destin Chance has been named the Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week, the league announced today.

Chance, a senior from Auburn, Ill. who was an All-American last year, continued his strong performance by throwing for seven touchdowns in the season-opening 46-21 win at Millikin. This achievement tied for the second-best performance in school history; Chance holds the record with eight touchdowns set last season. He completed the game with 23-for-41 passing for 341 yards.
