BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's tennis team narrowly lost to Southwest Illinois College (SWIC) with a final score of 4-3 on Thursday.

The Blueboys now hold a season record of 1-4.

Southwest Illinois College secured the first point by sweeping the doubles matches. In singles play, both teams won three matches each. Victories for Illinois College came from Tejas Zala at No. 1, Jeff Wernsing at No. 2, and Titus Ashford at No. 6.

Thursday's match concludes the fall portion of the season for the Blueboys, who will resume competition in the spring session.
