The Illinois College men's and women's track and field teams participated in the Rose-Hulman Twilight Meet held on Friday night in Terre Haute, Indiana. The men's team achieved a seventh-place finish, while the women's team secured fifth place.

Saul Hernandez led the Blueboys with a first-place victory in the shot put, achieving a mark of 43' 11.25" (13.39 meters). Max Beyers also took first place in the pole vault by clearing a height of 13' 7.25" (4.15 meters). Among other notable performances, Jack Douglas finished fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.16 seconds.

On the women's side, Brooke Oakley stood out for the Lady Blues by placing second in both the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.11 seconds and the 400-meter dash at 1:01.24 minutes. Additional key performances included Maddie Benson finishing fourth in the 200-meter dash at 27.48 seconds, Kristina Hilmes taking fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.49 seconds, and Paige Nowak finishing fourth in the pole vault at a height of 9'8" (2.95 meters).

Looking ahead, both teams are set to compete in upcoming events including the Drake Relays and Millikin Quad Meet scheduled for Thursday, April 27th, and Friday, April 28th.
