The Midwest Conference (MWC) has announced its Academic All-Conference honorees for the 2022-23 academic year. A total of 1,544 student-athletes from nine member institutions have been recognized for their academic achievements.

To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.33, participate in a varsity contest, and compete on a team that completes at least half of its scheduled contests.

Illinois College was notable among the institutions, with 171 student-athletes receiving honors. The football team led with 40 honorees, followed by men's soccer with 20 and softball with 17.

The list of recipients is organized by sport, including multi-sport athletes who are listed under each sport they participated in.

Football had the highest number of honorees at Illinois College with players such as Caleb Allen and Jace Barton being recognized. Men's soccer included athletes like Paul Adams and Sam Blair. In softball, Claudia Adam and Taylor Becker were among those honored.

This announcement highlights the commitment to both academics and athletics across the Midwest Conference's member institutions.
