The Illinois College men's tennis team hosted Lewis & Clark Community College at the Bellatti Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Illinois. Despite their efforts, the Blueboys were defeated with a final score of 1-8.

The team's only win came from Andrus Dupre in his singles match. Dupre won against his opponent after a challenging tiebreaker set with a score of 10-6. The doubles matches did not go in favor of the Blueboys, as they lost all three encounters. Notably, the No. 2 doubles match saw first-year twins A. Dupre and Grayson Dupre put up a close fight but ultimately lose 5-8.

In singles competition, A. Dupre showed determination in the No. 4 match by winning the opening set 7-6 against LC's Joe Brangenberg. Although Brangenberg managed to force a tiebreaker by taking the second set 2-6, Dupre prevailed in the deciding set.

Momir Vickovic also competed for Illinois College in the No. 6 singles match and secured five sets initially but was unable to maintain momentum and lost in straight sets.

The Blueboys are scheduled to continue their home series on Friday, March 22nd against Mississippi University for Women at 2:00 PM.
