The Illinois College Blueboys golf team hosted the IC Fall Preview in Springfield, Illinois, and secured a first-place finish with a team score of 291. The team's success was led by Jarrett James, who claimed first place overall with a score of 70 in one round. Teammates Tre Wahlig and Tobin Nell tied for second place, each scoring 72. Andrew McKillip tied for 14th with a score of 77, while Peter Hauser tied for 25th with an 80.
In addition to their first-place finish, the Blueboys also achieved second place as a team with a score of 298. This team included Tanner Romine and Ashton Sutton, both tying for sixth place with scores of 74. Dane Huber and Cole Bartels tied for tenth place with scores of 75, and Samuel Frericks tied for 36th with an 82.
The Blueboys' next competition will be at the Blackburn College Invite on Thursday, September 22nd at 11:00 AM.
