The Illinois College men's tennis team wrapped up a six-match homestand with a double-header against Webster University and Westminster College at the Bellatti Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Blueboys managed to split the matches, securing a victory against Westminster College with a final score of 9-0.

In the first match of the day, Illinois College faced Webster University and suffered an 8-1 defeat. The team started on a challenging note by losing all three doubles matches with scores of 2-8. In singles play, Momir Vickovic was the sole victor for Illinois College, winning his No. 6 singles match after a tough battle that ended in straight sets, 7-6 and 6-1.

Jeff Wernsing won his opening set in the No. 1 singles but eventually fell to Ethan Foucheaux after a tiebreaker set. Similarly, Grayson Dupre pushed his opponent to a tiebreaker in the No. 3 singles match but ultimately lost.

However, the second match saw Illinois College dominate Westminster College decisively with a clean sweep of 9-0. Dupre for victories in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles respectively with scores of 8-0 each. Allen Oakley and Vickovic secured an additional win in No. 3 doubles by an impressive scoreline of 8-1.

The success continued into singles play where every player from Illinois College won their respective matches in straight sets. Notably, Wernsing clinched victory in the No. 1 singles match with an intense back-and-forth encounter ending at 8-6 while G. Dupre and Antonio Loaiza both claimed wins at No. 4 and No. 6 singles by identical scores of 8-3.
