Illinois College concludes fall golf season at Central College Fall Classic

The Illinois College men's golf team wrapped up their participation in the Central College Fall Classic on Tuesday. The team finished 11th overall, with a combined score of 641 over the two-day event.

During the opening round, Samuel Frericks led the Blueboys by scoring an 80, closely followed by Kacee Fulkerson's score of 81. On Tuesday's final round, Jarrett James posted a three-over-par 75, bringing his total to 159. Frericks improved his score by one stroke on the second day with a round of 79, also finishing with an overall score of 159.

Both James and Frericks achieved a tie for 33rd place overall in the tournament. Cole Bartels scored a total of 160, Fulkerson ended with a score of 163, and Ashton Sutton rounded out the team scores at 167.

Additionally, Peter Hauser scored 162, Tobin Nell had a total of 166, and Dane Huber finished with a score of 169 for Illinois College.

This event marks the conclusion of the Blueboys' fall season for this year.
