Illinois College golf team finishes third at Highland Classic

The Illinois College Blueboys men's golf team began their season with a strong performance at the Highland Classic, hosted by Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. The team secured third place overall with a combined score of 606.

Leading the Blueboys was Jarrett James, who finished sixth individually with a score of 149 over two rounds. His teammates Tre Wahlig and Peter Hauser also contributed significantly, tying for 12th and 14th places with scores of 151 and 152, respectively.

The team is set to continue their season at the Aurora Fall Invite on Tuesday, September 6th, starting at 7:45 AM.
