Illinois College's Adam Passmore has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Baseball Position Performer of the Week. The announcement was made today by the league.

Passmore, hailing from Springfield, Illinois, demonstrated outstanding performance across various facets of the game, contributing significantly to Illinois College's success in winning five out of six games during the week.

During these six games, Passmore achieved a batting average of .586, going 17-for-29 at the plate. He scored 14 runs and drove in 14 RBI. Among his 17 hits were three home runs and two doubles, and he successfully stole two bases.

Defensively, the junior handled all 42 chances at second base without making an error and was involved in turning 10 double plays. Passmore attended Springfield High School and played at Lincoln Land before joining Illinois College.

The Blueboys currently hold a record of 13-3 overall and are set to begin their Midwest Conference play this Saturday with a doubleheader against Monmouth starting at noon.
