The Illinois College E-Sports team faced a setback in their recent quarterfinal match against Mount Saint Mary's University, losing 3-0. This match was part of the MEC (UCL) Rocket League Playoffs.

In the first game, Mount Saint Mary's secured a decisive victory with a score of 7-2. The second game saw Illinois College struggling offensively, resulting in a 4-0 loss. The final game ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of Mount Saint Mary's.

Illinois College managed to score only three goals throughout the match. Kieran Powers led the team with two goals, while Dwight Duijneveld contributed one goal on two shots and made seven saves. Glenn Conway provided two assists and four saves during the match.

Despite this defeat, Illinois College remains hopeful for future success after their previous win against Glenville State. They are now set to compete in the Loser Round against Bridgewater College on November 5th at 7:00 pm. A victory in this match would give them another chance to face Mount Saint Mary's in the finals later that evening.
