The Lady Blues faced a defeat against Webster University in a non-conference game held on Wednesday night in St. Louis, Missouri. The match concluded with a score of 75-58, resulting in the Lady Blues' season record shifting to 1-1. Meanwhile, Webster University maintained their undefeated streak, advancing to 3-0.

Freshman Raegen Stringer led the Lady Blues by scoring 13 points and contributing six rebounds and four assists. Jayln Patterson followed as the second leading scorer for Illinois College (IC) with eight points.

Webster University demonstrated strong performance by shooting 46% from the field despite making only one three-pointer during the game. They secured 48 of their total points from inside the paint. In contrast, IC managed a shooting percentage of 35%. The Lady Blues excelled in offensive rebounds, leading with 18, but were outperformed overall in rebounds by Webster with a margin of 45-42.

Looking ahead, the Lady Blues are set to play another non-conference game against Greenville University on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
