On November 19, Rep. Budzinski expressed pride in representing Springfield, IL, home of President Lincoln. She commemorated the "161st anniversary of his pivotal Gettysburg Address" by urging a recommitment to "upholding our democratic values and fighting for freedom and equality for all." Later that day, she emphasized the importance of supporting veterans who have served the country. She announced her participation in passing bipartisan legislation aimed at enhancing VA services and benefits. This includes improving access to home and community-based care for veterans. In another meeting held on the same day with Clean Fuels Alliance America, Rep. Budzinski discussed expanding markets for biofuels and optimizing the 45Z tax credit for growers and producers.
