On December 10, 2024, Rep. Budzinski expressed her concern regarding potential downsizing plans by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy that could impact delivery services in Central and Southern Illinois. She emphasized the importance of reliable postal services for rural communities, stating: "Today, I pressed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy on his plans to downsize processing centers and post offices that could worsen delivery delays for Central and Southern Illinoisans. Our rural communities deserve reliable service just like urban ones."

The following day, on December 11, 2024, she highlighted discussions with labor organizations about protecting federal employees' rights. She noted past challenges under President Trump's administration: "During his first term, President Trump repeatedly undermined labor rights for federal employees - like park rangers and nurses. It was great to meet with @AFGENational, @NTEUnews, @NFFE_Union and @IFPTE to talk about how we can make sure that these public servants are protected."

Later that day, she addressed the issue of rising drug prices due to the actions of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). She shared her support for bipartisan efforts aimed at reforming this sector: "For too long, predatory middlemen called PBMs have inflated drug prices and squeezed out community pharmacies that so many Americans rely on. I'm proud to sign a bipartisan letter calling on congressional leadership to pass the reforms we need to finally rein them in."
