Illinois College wide receiver Collin Brunstein has been recognized as a First Team All-American by the Associated Press, adding to his list of achievements for the 2024 season. The announcement was made on Thursday, marking another accolade for the Jacksonville, Illinois native.
Previously, Brunstein was named a second-team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association earlier this month. Last season, he was also selected as a second-team pick by the Associated Press.
During the 2024 campaign, Brunstein caught 73 passes for 1,540 yards and scored 27 touchdowns. His performance led the nation in yardage and touchdowns, contributing to his total of 168 points scored.
Brunstein concluded his college career with impressive records. He holds the NCAA career record for all levels with 77 touchdown receptions. At Illinois College (IC), he graduates as the school's all-time leader in receiving yards (5,047) and touchdown receptions (77), while ranking second in receptions (220). He is distinguished as the only player in Blueboy history to achieve over 75 touchdown passes and more than 5,000 receiving yards.
