The All-American accolades for the 2024 season continue to accumulate for Illinois College wide receiver Collin Brunstein. The Jacksonville, Illinois native was recognized as a fourth-team All-American by d3football.com, an announcement made on Thursday.
Previously this postseason, Brunstein received first-team All-American honors from the Associated Press and was selected for the second team by the American Football Coaches Association.
During the 2024 campaign, Brunstein achieved significant statistics with 73 receptions for 1,540 yards and 27 touchdowns. His yardage and touchdown numbers were national leaders, as were his total points scored at 168.
As a senior, Brunstein completed his impressive career with a record of 77 touchdown receptions, setting an NCAA career record across all levels. He also left a notable legacy in the Illinois College record book by graduating as the school's all-time leader in receiving yards (5,047) and touchdown receptions (77), while ranking second in receptions (220). Notably, he is the only player in Blueboy history to exceed both 75 touchdown catches and over 5,000 receiving yards.
