The Lady Blues secured a decisive victory over Beloit with a final score of 76-46, marking their third consecutive win. The game took place on Wednesday and was a conference matchup. With this victory, Illinois College (IC) improves its record to 5-9 overall and 2-3 in conference play. Beloit's record drops to 1-13 overall and 0-5 in conference play.

The Lady Blues established control early with a 10-point run and maintained their lead throughout the game. They limited Beloit to 32% shooting from the field while scoring 21 points off Beloit's 26 turnovers. IC's bench made a significant contribution, adding 40 points to the team's total of 76.

Jenna Bowman was the leading scorer for IC with 13 points, including three successful three-point shots out of four attempts. Raegen Stringer added 12 points along with three steals and two assists. Jayln Patterson contributed with another solid performance, scoring 11 points and securing six rebounds.

Illinois College excelled in shooting from beyond the arc, achieving nearly a 40% success rate, while restricting Beloit to just two successful shots out of twelve attempts from long range. The Lady Blues also dominated in rebounding, securing a total of 44 rebounds compared to Beloit's 34. They managed to collect 19 offensive rebounds that resulted in an additional 16 second-chance points.

A noteworthy mention is Ashlyn Wightman, who is now just 33 points shy of reaching the milestone of joining the Illinois College's exclusive group of players who have scored over one thousand career points.

Looking ahead, the Lady Blues will face Ripon College on Saturday, January 11th at an away game scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm.
