Rep. Nikki Budzinski, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois' 13th district since 2023, has recently shared her views on various pressing issues through social media posts. Her statements reflect her stance on transparency in government, remembrance of historical events, and support for workers' rights.

On January 25, 2025, Rep. Budzinski addressed concerns about transparency within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She stated that "Our VA thrives on transparency and accountability — firing nonpartisan watchdogs undermines those core principles. We need what’s best for our veterans, not Donald Trump’s personal interests."

Two days later, on January 27, 2025, she commemorated International Holocaust Remembrance Day by acknowledging the victims of Nazi persecution. In her post, she emphasized the importance of confronting hate: "On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember and honor the 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust and the millions of other victims of Nazi persecution. We must continue to confront antisemitism and hate wherever it appears."

Later that day, Rep. Budzinski expressed solidarity with workers seeking fair labor contracts at REI. She declared her support alongside fellow lawmakers: "I stand in solidarity with the @UFCW and @RWDSU workers at REI who are fighting for a fair contract. I'm leading a letter with @RepDanGoldman and the @Labor_Caucus calling on REI to stop dragging their hiking boots and bargain in good faith."
