Nikki Budzinski, currently serving as a U.S. Congresswoman for Illinois' 13th district, has been active on social media discussing various topics of interest to her constituents. She replaced Rodney Davis in 2023 and has since focused on initiatives that support local communities and workers.

On March 3, 2025, Budzinski tweeted about her visit to East Alton with Governor Pritzker to celebrate the expansion of the Wieland factory. She emphasized the significance of this investment, stating "This critical investment will have a lasting impact on this community."

Later that day, she highlighted her bipartisan LEAP Act through another tweet. Budzinski explained that the act aims to create new opportunities for American workers by supporting apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. She noted that these programs are "a proven way to fill the skills gap and get folks ready for careers in growing industries!"

In a subsequent post, Budzinski addressed trade policies concerning tariffs. She acknowledged that while tariffs can be beneficial in supporting American workers and manufacturing, imposing a blanket 25% tariff on goods from Canada and Mexico would be detrimental. She remarked that such measures would "only raise costs for working families" and criticized it as "the wrong approach."
