Rep. Nikki Budzinski, representing Illinois' 13th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently took to social media to address various issues affecting her constituents and the broader community. Her statements focused on disaster aid, support for veterans, and biofuel access.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Budzinski joined forces with Rep. Jill Tokuda in calling on President Trump to reconsider reductions made to the office responsible for disaster aid in St. Clair County following last July's floods. She stated: "I joined @RepJillTokuda in urging President Trump to reverse cuts to the office handling disaster aid for St. Clair County after last July's floods. Firing essential staff makes it harder to deliver this aid effectively and delays recovery for our community."

Later that day, Budzinski addressed challenges faced by veterans transitioning from active duty service within her district. Expressing concern over financial obstacles encountered by these individuals, she announced efforts alongside Rep. Abe Hamadeh: "I’ve heard from veterans across my district about the financial obstacles they’ve faced since leaving active duty service. I'm proud to reintroduce my bill with @RepAbeHamadeh to expand access to STEM scholarships to help veterans advance their skills and enter good-paying…"

Additionally, Budzinski expressed her bipartisan commitment towards expanding biofuel accessibility on March 11, 2025: "I’m proud to stand with @RepAdrianSmith and other bipartisan colleagues in support of year-round E15. Expanding biofuel access will empower emerging markets for corn growers, strengthen our local economies, and help lower prices for consumers across the country."
