On March 25, 2025, Rep. Budzinski tweeted her commitment to protecting Medicaid users like John from Edwardsville, IL. She stated, "Like many Americans, John from Edwardsville, IL relies on Medicaid to live independently. I’m fighting alongside him to protect it.".
Later the same day, she shared her experience of meeting with colleagues in the Bipartisan Rural Health Caucus.
