Rep. Nikki Budzinski, currently serving as a U.S. Congresswoman for Illinois’ 13th district since succeeding Rodney Davis in 2023, recently shared updates on her constituency work and federal issues through a series of tweets. Born in Peoria, Illinois, in 1977 and currently residing in Springfield, Budzinski's communications reveal her advocacy positions and community engagement.

On March 25, 2025, Budzinski expressed her support for America's postal employees, emphasizing their essential role in timely mail delivery across the country. She stated, "America’s postal employees work tirelessly to make sure we get our mail on time – regardless of where you live. I stand with the @NRLCA, @APWUnational, @NALC_National, and the NPMHU in saying HELL NO to USPS privatization."

Continuing her engagement with youth in her district, Budzinski announced the opening of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition on March 26, 2025. She tweeted, "The 2025 Congressional Art Competition is OPEN! High school students in #IL13 can submit their artwork to my office by April 11th for a chance to have it displayed in the U.S. Capitol!"

On the same day, Budzinski also addressed recent national executive actions through her social media platform. Following President Trump's issuance of an executive order to close the Department of Education, she informed her constituents of the potential implications. Her post read, "Last week, President Trump issued an executive order to shut down the Department of Education. Here’s what that means for our communities."
